On Saturday the 19th of October our Pole Factor contestants brought the house down with their strong, inspiring and magical performances. Now, we know how much work goes into prepping for competitions and we know what those butterflies feel like before stepping on to stage, so WELL DONE to ALL our finalists because what you did – whether a category winner or not – takes balls of steel and made it a night to remember!

This year our winners took home some amazing prizes in addition to their medals and trophies, thanks to our mind-blowing sponsors, from WAZOOGLES SUPERFOOD goodies and MON’S ALOE Forever Living products, to GO BROWN spray tan vouchers and womenswear items by LUXE BASICS. You are half the reason our winners walked away smiling… thank you!

Of course, no competition would be complete without a panel of experienced judges that take time out of their busy schedules to attend the event, score the performers, give valuable feedback and ultimately choose the winners – on a weekend might we add! So, thank you to Cezanne Carstens, Benita Bouwer, Tracey Ecclestone and Simone Hodgskiss for you time and expertise. We know that the undertaking is no easy task, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Of course, no one can forget our exceptional MC’s Grant Quixley and Tom Shackle. Thank you for your top class emceeing, your highly professional duets performance, and for putting on yet another great show!

We also have to acknowledge all the hands that make the event possible behind the scenes every year – without their involvement and professionalism, the show would simply not happen.

And to the audience, whose cheer and support keeps the performers going throughout the night… you’re incredible and we hope to see you again next year!

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to the Theatre 44 on Long for coming to our aid just two days before the event after a flood mishap at the Joseph Stone Auditorium. That was quite a feat we managed to pull off, thanks to your dedication and hard work!

Until the next one, folks!
